Regular Season Round 4: Levice - Lucenec 77-78

The most exciting game of round 4 in the SBL took place in Levice. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 3rd ranked Levice (2-2) to top-ranked Lucenec (4-0) 78-77 on Wednesday evening. American forward Mike Holloway-Jr (201-97, college: FDU) fired 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. The other American import point guard Dominique Hawkins (183-94, college: Kentucky) chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international center Boris Bojanovsky (217-93, college: FSU) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 19 rebounds and the former international power forward Viktor Juricek (211-93, college: TAMUCC) added 21 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Lucenec have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record. Levice at the other side keeps the third place with two games lost. Lucenec are looking forward to face league's second-placed Nova Ves at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Levice will have a break next round.
