Regular Season Round 4: Zabiny Brno - Loko Trutnov 98-59

First defeat of Loko Trutnov (2-1) against top-ranked Zabiny Brno (1-0) 98-59 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Loko Trutnov. Zabiny Brno dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Loko Trutnov's 44. Zabiny Brno forced 20 Loko Trutnov turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Natalie Stoupalova (185-98) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 7 rebounds. Anezka Kopecka (181-0) contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Canadian forward Meg Wilson (188-94, college: Simon Fraser) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and Anna Rylichova (174-99) added 8 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Loko Trutnov. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Zabiny Brno left bottom position moving up to sixth place. Loko Trutnov at the other side dropped to the third position with one game lost. They share it with KP Brno and Slavia. They were replaced at the leadership position by Sokol HK. Loko Trutnov will play next round against Chomutov trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Zabiny Brno will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked KP Brno. It will be extra interesting game as KP Brno is their local rival from Brno.
