The game in Monterrey was also worth to mention about. Second ranked Dorados (8-3) played at the court of 5th ranked Fuerza Regia (3-6). Dorados defeated Fuerza Regia 86-75. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Fuerza Regia. Dorados made 18-of-18 charity shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. It was a good game for Argentinian point guard Juan Brussino (185-91) who led his team to a victory with 21 points and 6 assists. Thomas Allen contributed with 18 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Puerto Rican swingman David Huertas (195-87, college: Ole Miss) replied with 13 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Daniel Bejarano (193-91, college: Colorado St.) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Fuerza Regia. Four Fuerza Regia players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Dorados maintains second position with 8-3 record having just three points less than leader Mineros. Fuerza Regia at the other side keeps the fifth place with six games lost. Dorados' next round opponent will be league's leader Mineros in Zacatecas and it will be for sure the game of the week. Fuerza Regia will play on the road against Correcaminos (#6) in Ciudad Victoria and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
