Regular Season Round 3: IK Eos - Team4Q 127-104

IK Eos (3-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed Team4Q (0-2) in Lund 127-104. The game was mostly controlled by IK Eos. Team4Q was better in fourth quarter 27-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They shot the lights out from three nailing 24 long-distance shots on high 51.1 percentage. IK Eos players were unselfish on offense dishing 37 assists comparing to just 24 passes made by Team4Q's players. It was a great evening for guard Joel Svensson (185-96) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 5 rebounds and 13 assists. Guard David Niklasson (193-95, college: N.Platte CC) helped adding 36 points (!!!). IK Eos' coach Christoffer Henriks felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was naturalized American point guard Omar Krayem (186-88, college: CBU) with 33 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 7 assists and Danish forward Mads Rasmussen (198-88) scored 22 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. IK Eos will play against Trelleborg (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Team4Q will have a break next round.
