Very important is a road loss of second ranked Lenadores (8-6) against fourth ranked Fuerza Regia (8-6) on Saturday night. Visiting Lenadores were defeated by Fuerza Regia in a tough game in Monterrey 78-87. Fuerza Regia looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Nigerian-American power forward OD Anosike (203-91, college: Siena) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Puerto Rican swingman David Huertas (195-87, college: Ole Miss) chipped in 22 points. Five Fuerza Regia players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Argentinian center Ivan Basualdo (203-90) who recorded a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and Argentinian point guard Jonatan Machuca (184-89) added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Fuerza Regia. They moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Lenadores. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
