Regular Season Round 1: Electrico FC - Olhanense 82-64

There was a small surprise when Electrico FC beat Olhanense in Ponte de Sor 82-64 on Saturday. Electrico FC forced 25 Olhanense turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Olhanense's players. Quite impressive performance for American guard Devin Peterson (185, college: WCU) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 5 assists. Andre Miguens (184-94) contributed with 21 points for the winners. American forward Sterling Christy (201-96, college: Walsh) answered with 22 points and 9 rebounds and center Andre Amado (202-99) added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Olhanense. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Electrico FC will face CB Queluz on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Olhanense will play against CA Queluz and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
