The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Gimle BBK as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Gimle BBK forced 23 Centrum turnovers. Guard Morten Osland (183-98) fired 27 points for the winners. The former international guard Eivind Lamo (200-96) chipped in 8 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Johan Flaa (185-99, college: Santa Rosa JC) produced 17 points and point guard Bendik Aunan (185-90) added 5 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Gimle BBK (5-1) have an impressive five-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Centrum at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
