Regular Season Round 6: Slask 2 - Prudnik 84-77

1Liga top team - Slask 2 (5-0) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat tenth ranked Prudnik (1-3) in Wroclaw 84-77. It was a good game for forward Tomasz Zelezniak (200-98) who led his team to a victory with 13 points and 9 rebounds. Power forward Szymon Tomczak (201-98) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Five Slask 2 players scored in double figures. Slask 2's coach Jerzy Chudeusz used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Wojciech Pisarczyk (201-88) replied with 29 points and 7 rebounds and center Tomasz Nowakowski (207-90) added 17 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Prudnik. Slask 2 have an impressive five-game winning streak. Newly promoted Slask 2 maintains first position with 5-0 record. Prudnik lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth place with three games lost. Slask 2 are looking forward to face Tychy (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Prudnik will play against AZS PO (#9) and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
