Regular Season Round 4: Nidaros Jets - Kongsberg 55-105

Bottom-ranked Nidaros Jets (0-4) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 105-55 loss to third ranked Kongsberg (3-1) in Tromdheim. The winners were led by Croatian Marin Mornar (205-93, college: LMU) who scored that evening 26 points and 9 rebounds and guard Nicolai Oestbye (187-89, college: UMSL) supported him with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Five Kongsberg players scored in double figures. Even 13 points by guard Christian Dischington (190-99) did not help to save the game for Nidaros Jets. Forward Jorgen Kjesbu (199-0) added 12 points for lost side. Nidaros Jets' coach Thor Overmo gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Defending champion maintains third position with 3-1 record having 2 victories less than leader Gimle BBK, which they share with Baerum Basket and Tromso. Nidaros Jets at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Kongsberg's next round opponent will be Asker Aliens (#6) on the road. Nidaros Jets will play against Fyllingen BBK and look forward to get finally their first victory.
