Very important is a road loss of Azulejos (1-1) against Maresme (2-0) on Saturday night. Visiting Azulejos was crushed by Maresme in Barcelona 71-46. Azulejos was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was center Olga Ruano (191-88) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Laura Soria (180-0) chipped in 13 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Eva Lacort (-89) who recorded 5 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and center Marina Vilella (185-92) added 8 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Azulejos' coach Javier Aladren gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Maresme's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Barcelona Segle XXI.
