Regular Season Round 3: Nancy - Blois 76-87

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Sluc Nancy (2-1) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by ADA Blois (3-0) 87-76. ADA Blois dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Sluc Nancy's 30. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Tyren Johnson (201-88, college: La-Lafayette) who led his team to a victory scoring 34 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds. Senegalese Mbaye Ndiaye (203-99) helped adding 16 points and 8 rebounds. ADA Blois' coach Mickael Hay used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Jamaican Tyran De-Lattibeaudiere (201-91, college: Lamar) with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Meredis Houmounou (188-88) scored 13 points. Four Sluc Nancy players scored in double figures. ADA Blois are looking forward to face Aix-Maurienne (#6) in Aix-les-Bains in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Sluc Nancy will play on the road against JA Vichy (#9) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
