We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Stargard where 12th ranked Spojnia (2-6) was defeated by thirteenth ranked Enea Astoria (3-6) 95-86 on Sunday. American guard Corey Sanders (188-97, college: Rutgers) fired 16 points and 8 assists for the winners. Center Lukasz Frackiewicz (205-96) chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds. Four Enea Astoria players scored in double figures. Enea Astoria's coach Artur Gronek allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American point guard Ricky Tarrant (188-93, college: Memphis) produced 29 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import center Baylee Steele (211-97, college: Duquesne) added 21 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Enea Astoria moved-up to twelfth place. Loser Spojnia dropped to the thirteenth position with six games lost. They share it with HydroTruck. Enea Astoria will meet higher ranked Asseco Arka (#8) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Spojnia will play against HydroTruck Radom (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
