The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Ryukyu GK as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Ryukyu GK defeated 4th placed Shimane Magic in Okinawa 82-75. Ryukyu GK made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Shimane Magic's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Ryukyu GK (7-2) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row.
