Regular Season Round 4: Ammerud Bskt - Baerum Basket 90-115

No shocking result in a game in Oslo where fifth ranked Baerum Basket (3-1) smashed 7th ranked Ammerud Bskt (2-3) 115-90 on Sunday. The former international forward Sjur Berg (201-96, college: Alaska-Anch.) fired a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Canadian forward Yannick Anzuluni (205-87, college: Houghton) chipped in 23 points and 7 rebounds. American-Haitian point guard Ilarion Bonhomme (182-91) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points, 5 rebounds, 13 assists and 5 steals and Swedish forward Plaisir Mukoko (198-91) added 24 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Baerum Basket moved-up to third place, which they share with Tromso and Kongsberg. Loser Ammerud Bskt keeps the seventh position with three games lost. Baerum Basket will face Tromso (#5) at home in the next round. Ammerud Bskt will play against Fyllingen BBK and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
