No shocking result in a game when top-ranked Paterna (2-0) beat on the road bottom-ranked Castello 2 (0-2) 77-60 on Sunday. It was a very good performance for guard Carlos Cerdan (190-97) who helped to win the game recording 32 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Joaquin Rodenas (186-90) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Point guard Andres Roig (188-99) replied with 9 points and 6 rebounds and guard Javier Le-Berre (186-93) added 9 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Castello 2. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Paterna keeps a position of Group E-A leader, which they share with Valencia 2. Loser Castello 2 still closes the standings with two games lost. Paterna will face Puerto Sagunto (#5) in Gilet in the next round. Castello 2 will play on the road against L'Alcora and hopes to get finally their first victory.
