Regular Season Round 3: Casablanca - Viladecans 45-61

Not a big story in a game in Zaragoza where Casablanca (1-2) was defeated by Viladecans (3-0) 61-45 on Sunday. Viladecans dominated down low during the game scoring 38 of its points in the paint compared to Casablanca's 18. The best player for the winners was point guard Elena Silva (173-93) who scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Power forward Marta Claret (185-92) chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Beatriz Royo (176-91) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and forward Beatriz Bollullo (181-93) added 8 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Viladecans will face Sant Josep (#5) in the next round. Casablanca will play against Barca CBS (#1) in Barcelona and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the Liga Dia just one year after relegation.
