Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Phoenix moved-up to third place, which they share with Ginebra Kings and SM Beermen. Loser NLEX RW dropped to the eleventh position with five games lost. Phoenix will meet league's second-placed Rain or Shine in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
