Regular Season Round 5: Guangsha L. - Zhejiang GB. 104-113

Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Hangzhou: Golden Bulls (#4) and Guangsha Lions (#8). Guangsha Lions were defeated at home 104-113 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. The former international point guard Qian Wu (188-94) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 8 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals for the winners and point guard Yibo Wang (190-97) chipped in 24 points and 4 assists. The former international center Jinqiu Hu (210-97) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Minghui Sun (187-96) scored 22 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Five Golden Bulls and four Guangsha Lions players scored in double figures. Guangsha Lions' coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Golden Bulls. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Liaoning FL and Jilin NE T. Loser Guangsha Lions dropped to the ninth place with two games lost. Golden Bulls will meet at home Aviators (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Guangsha Lions will play against Loongs and hope to secure a win.
