Regular Season Round 5: Mornar Bar - Buducnost 85-82

A very close game took place in Bar between Mornar Bar and Buducnost. Fourth ranked Mornar Bar (3-2) got a very close home victory over second-ranked Buducnost (3-2). Mornar Bar managed to escape with a 3-point win 85-82 in the game for the second place. Georgian-American guard Jacob Pullen (183-89, college: Kansas St.) stepped up and scored 23 points and 5 assists for the winners and American forward Isaiah Whitehead (191-95, college: Seton Hall) chipped in 18 points and 5 assists. Canadian-Nigerian forward Melvin Ejim (201-91, college: Iowa St., agency: BeoBasket) responded with 15 points and 7 rebounds and American power forward Willie Reed (211-90, college: St.Louis) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. Four Buducnost players scored in double figures. Buducnost's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Mornar Bar moved-up to second place in Group B, which they share with Levallois and Buducnost. Mornar Bar will meet at home bottom-ranked ratiopharm Ulm (#6) in the next round. Buducnost will play against Brescia (#5) and hope to secure a win.
