It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Unics Kazan. Joventut made 20-of-23 charity shots (87.0 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Swedish center Simon Birgander (209-97, agency: Dynamics Global Management) orchestrated the victory by scoring 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks. Four Joventut and five Unics Kazan players scored in double figures. Unics Kazan's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Joventut have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place in Group A with 5-0 record. Unics Kazan at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. They share it with Venezia. Joventut will play against Partizan NiS (#5) in Beograd in the next round. Unics Kazan will play at home against Umana Venezia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
