Regular Season Round 5: Brescia - Levallois 70-75

The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked French Levallois' (3-2) road victory over 5th ranked Italian Brescia (1-4) 75-70 on Wednesday. Brescia was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 7-point lead after three quarters before a 25-13 charge of Levallois, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American swingman Anthony Brown (199-92, college: Stanford) who scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Zimbabwean power forward Vitalis Chikoko (208-91) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. Canadian point guard Kenny Chery (180-92, college: Baylor) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 assists and Serbian center Dusan Ristic (214-95, college: Arizona, agency: BeoBasket) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Levallois moved-up to second place in Group B. Loser Brescia keeps the fifth position with four games lost. Levallois will face league's leader Unicaja Malaga at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Brescia will play against Buducnost (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
