The game between closely ranked teams ended with bottom-ranked Turkish Acibadem's (0-5) road loss to fifth ranked Italian Umana Venezia (2-2) 82-88 on Wednesday. Umana Venezia outrebounded Acibadem 44-33 including a 17-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Greek-American Michael Bramos (196-87, college: Miami, OH) who scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. Tongan-New Zealand Isaac Fotu (203-93, college: Hawaii) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. Five Umana Venezia players scored in double figures. American guard Erick Green (190-91, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 22 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and Mexican guard Alexander Perez-Kaufmann (191-93, agency: Pro Sports) added 19 points and 6 assists respectively for the guests.
