Liga Dia top team - Perfumerias Avenida (8-0) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they beat seventh ranked IDK Eustotren (4-4) in San Sebastian 84-66. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of IDK Eustotren. Worth to mention a quality performance of Dutch power forward Emese Hof (190-96, college: Miami, FL) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and American swingman Tiffany Hayes (177-89, college: UConn) who added 15 points during the contest. Mali center Mariam Coulibaly (193-97) responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds and Russian forward Julia Gladkova (185-94) scored 11 points. Four IDK Eustotren players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Perfumerias Avenida have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 8-0 record, which they share with Valencia. IDK Eustotren at the other side keeps the seventh place with four games lost. They share the position with Cadi La Seu. Perfumerias Avenida is looking forward to face Gernika (#6) at home in the next round where they are favorite. IDK Eustotren will play against ASEFA Estudiantes in Madrid and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
