Regular Season Round 6: Guangsha L. - Shanxi L. 103-113

There was a surprise result when thirteenth ranked Loongs (2-3) beat higher ranked Guangsha Lions (2-3) in Hangzhou 113-103. Loongs made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American Jamaal Franklin (196-91, college: SDSU, agency: Slash Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points, 5 rebounds and 13 assists. The former international Junwei Ren (203-90) chipped in 28 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Loongs' coach Wei Ding used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian center Miroslav Raduljica (213-88) who recorded a double-double by scoring 31 points and 12 rebounds and the former international center Jinqiu Hu (210-97) added 28 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Loongs moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Guangsha L. Loongs' next round opponent will be Sturgeons (#18) in Jinjiang and are hoping to win another game.
