Bottom-ranked Barreirense (0-3) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 87-67 loss to seventh ranked Lusitania (3-1) in Angra on Friday evening. The game without a history. Lusitania led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American-Nigerian center Temidayo Yussuf (201, college: LBSU) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists.
