Very important is a road loss of third ranked Serbian Mega SoccerBet (3-2) against sixth ranked Montenegrin Mornar Bar (3-1) on Saturday night. Visiting Mega SoccerBet was defeated by Mornar Bar in a tough game in Bar 73-80. American forward Kenny Gabriel (205-89, college: Auburn) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points. His fellow American import forward Isaiah Whitehead (191-95, college: Seton Hall) contributed with 17 points and 8 assists for the winners. Four Mornar Bar players scored in double figures. Montenegrin center Marko Simonovic (210-99) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and Filip Petrusev (211-0, college: Gonzaga, agency: BeoBasket) added 29 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Mega SoccerBet. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mornar Bar moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Cedevita Olimpija. Mega SoccerBet at the other side dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. Mornar Bar's next round opponent will be Krka (#12) in Novo Mesto and are hoping to win another game. Mega SoccerBet will play on the road against Borac (#11) in Banja Luka and hope to win that game.
