Mineros stayed alive in the series as they rolled past Lenadores. Mineros outrebounded Lenadores 47-29 including 19 on the offensive glass. American center Eric Dawson (206-84, college: Midwestern St., agency: Interperformances) notched a double-double by scoring 12 points and 21 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import forward Mike Bruesewitz (201-90, college: Wisconsin) supported him with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Dawson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even 15 points and 5 rebounds by American-Dominican Antonio Pena (204-86, college: Villanova) did not help to save the game for Lenadores. Argentinian guard Enzo Ruiz (194-88) added 18 points for the hosts. Five Mineros and four Lenadores players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
