Regular Season Round 4: Vic - Alfinden 96-64

The most important game of round 4 took place in Vic between two undefeated teams of Group C3 where Vic crushed Alfinden (0-1) 96-64 on Saturday night. It was a key game for the top position in Group C3. Vic dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Alfinden's 36. Worth to mention a great performance of forward David Vidal (194-97) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and center Sharif Idris (204-99) who added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side Alejandro Peleato (197-99) responded with 11 points and power forward Jose Malo (203-96) scored 7 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Vic (1-0) keeps a position of Group C3 leader, which they share with Barbera. Alfinden at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. They share the position with Roser. They were replaced at the leadership position by Guadalajara. Alfinden will play next round against strong Llucmajor trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Vic will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Martinenc in Barcelona.
