Another exciting game was played in Stavropol between sixth ranked Neftekhimik T. and 5th ranked Dynamo STV where Neftekhimik T. (3-1) beat Dynamo STV (2-2) on the road 59-50. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Neftekhimik T. forced 20 Dynamo STV turnovers. Center Kirill Arkhipov (202-96) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Point guard Taras Klyundikov (190-95) contributed with 5 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Guard Dmitriy Prokin (192-97) answered with 17 points and 6 rebounds and the former international center Dmitry Sokolov (214-85, agency: Alti Sport) added 9 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Dynamo STV. Dynamo STV's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Neftekhimik T. moved-up to second place, which they share with Cheb.Yastreby. Dynamo STV at the other side dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. Neftekhimik T. will play against Dynamo-MGTU (#9) in Maykop in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Dynamo STV will play at home against the league's second-placed Cheb.Yastreby and hopes to get back on the winning track.
