Regular Season Round 8: TSU - CSKA 2 101-89

There was no surprise in Revda where 11th ranked CSKA 2 (1-2) was defeated by sixth ranked TSU (3-1) 101-89 on Sunday. TSU had a 31-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Dmitriy Arteshin (201-89, agency: Alti Sport) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 6 rebounds and the former international forward Denis Levshin (201-93) who added 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Forward Danila Pokhodyayev (201-1, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds and guard Yuriy Umrikhin (190-99) scored 15 points. Five TSU and four CSKA 2 players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. TSU moved-up to fifth place. Loser CSKA 2 keeps the eleventh position with two games lost. They share it with Uralmash. TSU will meet league's leader MBA Moscow on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. CSKA 2 will play against Samara (#4) and hope to win that game.
