Aaguacateros overcame Astros to secure LNBP Finals berth. Aaguacateros shot 60.8 percent from the field and made 25-of-32 charity shots (78.1 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 58.3 percentage. Astros were plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Donald Sims (180-87, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points. The other American import center Jerome Meyinsse (208-88, college: Virginia) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Panamanian Ernesto Oglivie (203-89) replied with 26 points and Venezuelan point guard Heissler Guillent (186-86) added 15 points and 7 assists in the effort for Astros. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
