Very important is a home loss of Montenegrin Podgorica against North Macedonian Rabotnicki on Thursday night. Host Podgorica was defeated by Rabotnicki in a tough game in Podgorica 70-76. The best player for the winners was American point guard Damier Pitts (177-89, college: Marshall, agency: Inception Sports) who scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. The other American import power forward DeVaughn Washington (203-89, college: Ohio, agency: Mansfield and Associates) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds. Pitts is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Serbian point guard Novak Music (188-98, agency: BeoBasket) produced 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and Kosovan-Montenegrin Mikaile Tmusic (189-93, agency: XL Basketball Agency) added 11 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Four Rabotnicki and five Podgorica players scored in double figures. Podgorica's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Rabotnicki will meet at home Lovcen in the next round. Podgorica will play against Sutjeska in Niksic and hope to win that game.
