Regular Season Round 7: Mornar Bar - Primorska 87-66

Bottom-ranked Slovenian Primorska is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their seventh consecutive match to fourth ranked Montenegrin Mornar Bar (5-1) 87-66. Mornar Bar brought some defensive toughness making 13 blocks. It was a great evening for Serbian forward Marko Jeremic (192-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 9 points and 7 rebounds. American forward Kenny Gabriel (205-89, college: Auburn) helped adding 15 points. Mornar Bar's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side power forward Jurij Macura (211-99, agency: BeoBasket) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and Kosovan-Albanian Erjon Kastrati (198-94) scored 20 points. The victory was the third consecutive win for Mornar Bar. They moved-up to second place. Primorska lost their seventh game in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost. Mornar Bar will play against Split (#8) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Primorska will play against Mega SoccerBet (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
