The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh ranked Tarnovia's (4-2) road victory over 8th ranked Slask 3 (2-5) 79-71 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was swingman Lukasz Kupczynski (190-99) who scored 22 points and 4 steals. Power forward Filip Taisner (202-94) chipped in 16 points. Guard Mikolaj Styczen (187-2) produced 19 points and 8 assists and Wojciech Siembiga (195-3) added 16 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Four Slask 3 players scored in double figures. Slask 3's coach Jacek Krzykala rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Tarnovia have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Slask 3 dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. Tarnovia will face Nysa (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Slask 3 will play against Stal Ostrow 2 and hope to win that game.
