There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Valladolid (0-3) was defeated at home by leader Tormes (4-0) 79-69 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Cameroonian Nelson Yengue (195-92, college: Laurentian) who scored 21 points and 9 rebounds. Bosnian Sandro Gacic (201-96) chipped in 10 points and 6 assists. Four Tormes players scored in double figures. Forward David Fernandez (195-1) produced 18 points and 7 rebounds and Ignacio Garcia (-1) added 12 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Tormes have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place in Group A-B with 4-0 record.
