Regular Season Round 9: Decin - Usti n/Labem 88-87

A very interesting game took place in Decin. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Usti n/Labem (4-4) to eleventh ranked Decin (2-5) 88-87 on Monday evening. Decin made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Usti n/Labem helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was point guard Ondrej Siska (190-93) who scored 32 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Simon Jezek (190-90) chipped in 12 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). At the other side the best for losing team was Ladislav Pecka (197-91) who recorded 18 points and point guard Michal Sotnar (187-92) added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists respectively. Four Usti n/Labem players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Decin maintains eleventh place with 2-5 record. Usti n/Labem at the other side dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. Decin's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Opava at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
