Regular Season Round 4: MZT Skopje - Borac BL 99-75

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Bosnian Borac (2-2) against fourth ranked North Macedonian MZT Skopje (3-1) on Wednesday night. Visiting Borac was crushed by MZT Skopje in Skopje 99-75. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Borac. It was a key game for the second position in the league. MZT Skopje players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Serbian Andrija Bojic (206-93) fired 26 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American-Jamaican power forward Femi Olujobi (206-96, college: DePaul) chipped in 22 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Serbian forward Nikola Tanaskovic (205-97, agency: BeoBasket) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and American swingman Tavarius Shine (198-94, college: OK State) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. MZT Skopje have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending North Macedonian champion moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Borac dropped to the sixth position with two games lost.
