Regular Season Round 9: LKS Lodz - Tur Bielsk Pdl. 74-83

There was no surprise when 5th ranked LKS Lodz (5-3) lost at home to leader Tur Bielsk Pdl. (6-0) 83-74 on Saturday. It was a good game for forward Lukasz Kuczynski (196-85) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Rafal Krol (197-87) contributed with 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Bartlomiej Bartoszewicz (199-92) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and Kacper Dominiak (190-98) added 22 points in the effort for LKS Lodz. LKS Lodz's coach Piotr Zych rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Tur Bielsk Pdl.. They moved-up to second place in Group B. Loser LKS Lodz dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. Tur Bielsk Pdl. will face Zubry (#8) in Bialystok in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. LKS Lodz will play on the road against Zyrardow (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
