Regular Season Round 6: Sokol HK - Loko Trutnov 80-63

No shocking result in a game in Hradec Kralove where third ranked Sokol HK (4-1) defeated 6th ranked Loko Trutnov (2-3) 80-63 on Saturday. They outrebounded Loko Trutnov 51-33 including a 40-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was forward Klara Mareckova (185-90) who scored 9 points and 17 rebounds. Guard Kristyna Cuperkova (173) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. Four Sokol HK players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Anna Rylichova (174-99) who recorded 18 points and 4 steals and Canadian forward Meg Wilson (188-94, college: Simon Fraser) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Sokol HK moved-up to second place. Loko Trutnov lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with three games lost. Sokol HK will face KP Brno (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Loko Trutnov will play against KP Brno and hope to win that game.
