Everything went according to plan when third ranked FC Barcelona (9-2) beat on the road 16th ranked Zaragoza (2-9) 97-85 on Sunday. FC Barcelona dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Zaragoza's 34. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Greek-American point guard Nick Calathes (197-89, college: Florida) who helped to win the game recording 11 points and 9 assists and American Cory Higgins (195-89, college: Colorado, agency: Network Sports International) who added 17 points during the contest. Five FC Barcelona players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Canadian-Jamaican point guard Dylan Ennis (187-91, college: Oregon, agency: BeoBasket) with 26 points and German forward Robin Benzing (208-89, agency: BeoBasket) scored 20 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. FC Barcelona have a solid four-game winning streak.
