Round 13 most important game was a victory of Gigantes over 3rd placed Centauros 75-46 on Tuesday night. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Luis Duarte (190-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Irving Nunez (190-91) contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Michael Flores (192-85) answered with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international power forward Hector Romero (202-80, college: New Orleans) added 12 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Centauros. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Gigantes (9-3) moved-up to third place. Centauros at the other side dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Supersonicos.
