An interesting game for Bars (9-0) which hosted in Petropavlovsk second-ranked Almat.Legion-2 (7-2). Top-ranked Bars had an easy win 107-69. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Almat.Legion-2. Bars dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Almat.Legion-2's 26. Bars forced 23 Almat.Legion-2 turnovers and outrebounded them 48-25 including a 23-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Maksim Nalagov (198-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 47 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Artem Kozyrkin (185-98) who added 33 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 17 assists during the contest. Guard Maxim Rakovskih (188-0) responded with 23 points and center Daniel Albrant (205-98) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Almat.Legion-2's coach Vitaliy Lapchenko gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Bars have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-0 record. Almat.Legion-2 at the other side keeps the second place with two games lost. They share the position with Kazygurt. Bars will play against league's second-placed Kazygurt in Shymkent in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Almat.Legion-2 will play at home against Karaganda and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
