No shocking result in a game in Guayama where fifth ranked Brujos (6-4) defeated bottom-ranked Mets (3-6) 82-78. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Brujos dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Mets' 44. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Jordan Howard (180-96, college: Cent Arkansas) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 5 rebounds. The other American import forward Will Daniels (202-86, college: URI, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American forward Terrence Jones (206-92, college: Kentucky) replied with 29 points and 9 rebounds and American-Dominican forward Angel Nunez (203-91, college: S.Florida) added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Mets. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Brujos moved-up to fourth place. Newly promoted Mets stay at the bottom position with six games lost. Brujos will play against league's leader Piratas in Quebradillas in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Mets will play at home against Indios (#3) and hope to get back on the winning track.
