The game in Banska Bystrica supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked MBK Ruzomberok (9-1) played at the court of 7th ranked SK UMB BB (1-10). MBK Ruzomberok smashed SK UMB BB 89-32 on Wednesday. MBK Ruzomberok dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to SK UMB BB's 30. MBK Ruzomberok forced 31 SK UMB BB turnovers and outrebounded them 42-24 including 17 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by SK UMB BB's players. The best player for the winners was Montenegrin guard Sofija Zivaljevic (179-97, college: NDSU) who scored 22 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. American-Nigerian forward Nicole Enabosi (187-97, college: Delaware) chipped in 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Five MBK Ruzomberok players scored in double figures. Center Gabriela Turcanova (186-93) produced 9 points and 5 rebounds and Rebeka Chovancova (-99) added 6 points respectively for the hosts. SK UMB BB's coach Andrea Izakova gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for MBK Ruzomberok. Defending champion moved-up to second place. SK UMB BB lost their fifth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. MBK Ruzomberok will face Young Angels (#3) in Kosice in the next round, which may be the game of the day. SK UMB BB's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Banska Bystrica to the arena SKP 08 BB.
