Regular Season Round 11: Decin - Kolin 75-105

The game in Decin supposed to be also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Kolin (5-3) played at the court of 8th ranked Decin (3-6). Kolin smashed Decin 105-75 on Thursday. Kolin made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for point guard Adam Ciz (192-91) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). American forward Lee Skinner (198-92, college: Wofford) helped adding 15 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Five Kolin players scored in double figures. Point guard Ondrej Siska (190-93) responded with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international forward Tomas Pomikalek (200-89) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kolin moved-up to fifth place. Loser Decin dropped to the ninth position with six games lost. Kolin will meet at home higher ranked Brno (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Decin will play against Olomoucko (#12) and hope to secure a win.
