No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked C'Chartres (3-2) crushed at home 10th ranked CFBB (1-4) 102-69. C'Chartres shot 68.2 percent from the field and made 31-of-40 charity shots (77.5 percent) during the game, while CFBB only scored six points from the stripe. C'Chartres forced 19 CFBB turnovers and had a 21-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for C'Chartres especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. 30 personal fouls committed by CFBB helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Kamel Ammour (203-91, agency: Octagon Europe) fired 17 points for the winners. Point guard Yann Siegwarth (185-93) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists. Four C'Chartres players scored in double figures. Armel Traore (200-3) produced 22 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and swingman Ousmane Dieng (201-3) added 12 points and 8 assists respectively for lost side. CFBB's coach Jean-Aime Toupane already knew that his team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. C'Chartres moved-up to fifth place in Group B, which they share with Mulhouse. CFBB at the other side dropped to the twelfth position with four games lost. C'Chartres' next round opponent will be league's second-placed Andrezieux at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. CFBB will play against Orchesien BC (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
