Regular Season Round 9: Bratunac - Leotar 85-74

We should mention about the upset which took place in Bratunac, where higher ranked Leotar (3-4) lost to thirteenth ranked Bratunac (2-4) in a road game 74-85 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Bratunac. Leotar was better in fourth quarter 24-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bratunac shot 62.2 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 54.8 percentage. Bratunac looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Leotar's players. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Marko Rikalo (187-94) who scored 16 points and 8 assists. Canadian-Serbian forward Aleksandar Danilovic (202-93) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds. Five Bratunac players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Stefan Mijovic (197-95, agency: PEPI SPORT) who recorded 20 points and 7 rebounds and Marko Raicevic (185-95) added 12 points and 4 assists respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bratunac moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Bosna-Royal. Loser Leotar dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. Bratunac will face higher ranked Borac (#8) in Banja Luka in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
