Regular Season Round 1: Yulon Luxgen - Taiwan Beer 69-82

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Yulon Luxgen against Taiwan Beer on Saturday night. Taiwan Beer were defeated by Taiwan Beer 82-69. American forward JD Miller (203-96, college: TCU) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Yu-An Chang (174-91) chipped in 20 points and 4 steals. U.S. Virgin Islands forward Rakeem Christmas (206-91, college: Syracuse) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and forward Ba Ban (203-97) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Taiwan Beer is looking forward to face Pauian in the next round. Yulon Luxgen will play against Bank of Taiwan and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
