Rather predictable result when ninth ranked Decin (4-6) won against at home bottom-ranked Olomoucko (1-10) 89-73 on Saturday. Decin forced 22 Olomoucko turnovers. The winners were led by point guard Ondrej Siska (190-93) who scored that evening 17 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and swingman David Zikla (203-98) supported him with 21 points and 6 rebounds. Even 26 points and 7 rebounds by forward David Pekarek (201-96, college: Fordham) did not help to save the game for Olomoucko. Point guard Lukas Festr (185-94) added 12 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Decin maintains ninth position with 4-6 record. Olomoucko lost tenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with ten games lost. Decin will meet at home higher ranked Kralovsti sokoli (#8) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
