Date: December 5, 2020
Bottom-ranked Larissa BC (0-3) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 90-64 loss to tenth ranked Kolossos HH (2-4) in Rodou on Saturday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Kolossos HH. Larissa BC was better in second period 25-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kolossos HH dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Larissa BC's 20. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Dominic Artis (192-93, college: UTEP, agency: Pensack Sports) who scored 17 points and 7 assists. Turkish forward Kerem Kanter (207-95, college: Xavier) chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds. Four Kolossos HH players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American James Webb-III (206-93, college: Boise St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Brandon Rush (198-85, college: Kansas) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kolossos HH moved-up to seventh place. Loser Larissa BC still closes the standings with three games lost. Kolossos HH will face Promitheas (#8) in Patras in the next round. Larissa BC will play at home against Ionikos Nikaias (#11) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
